Registration is open to all persons interested in health promotion, population health, social, political and economic fields, such as housing, income, employment and the various levels of government and NGOs, whose work and policies affect the health outcome of the population.

All persons intending to attend the Symposium must complete a Registration Form.  Please read the below registration information before you complete the Registration Form.  Should you experience any difficulties please contact the Symposium Managers at the email address given on the homepage.

  • Catering: morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for all Symposium days

Student Registration

A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or international student card.  Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate.  Student registrants are entitled to the following:

  • All sessions
  • Pocket program and list of participants
  • Name badge
  • Catering: morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for all Symposium days

Please note: A copy of your student identification card must be uploaded during the registration process.  Without this copy being received, the full registration fee will be charged.  

Day Registrants

Day Registration entitles delegates to the following:

  • All sessions on the nominated day
  • Pocket program and list of participants
  • Name badge
  • Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on the nominated day

Registration confirmation

Your completed registration and successful payment will be acknowledged via email or post with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form.  Your registration will only be processed or confirmed if payment does accompany your form.

Name badge

Each member of the Symposium will receive a name badge upon registration.  The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions. The Symposium Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.

Credit Card

Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card.  Please visit our secure website here to register and book your accommodation in ‘real time’.  Accepted credit cards: MasterCard, Visa and American Express (edit if necessary). Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex Pty Ltd’.

Alternate Payment Options

If you are unable to pay by credit card, please contact the Symposium managers via This option will only be available until 40 days prior to the Symposium commencement date unless prior approval has been granted by the Organising Committee.

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Symposium Managers.

Registration Fees: 
Cancellations before 23 May 2018 will incur an A$150.00 cancellation fee.
Cancellations on or before 11 July 2018 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid.
Cancellations on or after 12 July 2018 there will be no refund.

Social: Payments are non-refundable at Friday 20 July.

The program is correct at the time of publishing.  The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Symposium timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice.  Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Symposium Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.

The Symposium Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Symposium for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Symposium and/or its content at their sole discretion.
